Grey days, bickering, and procrastination
Waking to another grey day, now and then gently raining... Nothing dramatic at the moment. This parched area is glad of the rain, both the heavy and the light! It looks like the week ahead will be a great drought-fighter! I hear birds bickering not far away. Magpies shouting, vs some smaller, more melodic singer. Pixie is at the back door quietly staring at the squirrel on the feeder. I saw two doves on it at the same time yesterday, and in the evening, a couple of house finches. They, like the...
