Sunday morning under haze
There are no mountains in view today. The smoke haze filters the sunlight to a sort of orangey color, and the haze is evident looking even a block away. It is not imagination if you think you smell smoke. From a cool overnight of ~50, we expect a jump of 40 degrees by afternoon. I woke early and went out to check for zucchini and yellow crook-necks. I found not much of either, but did collect some tomatoes and little peas. There is a new squash-family item blooming with a very pretty white... Sign in to see full entry.
