Beautiful spring day in the neighborhood...!
According to forecasts, Saturday will be balmy, and there's nothing flake-like in the foreseeable future. This, in country that has had great snowfalls on Mother's Day twice since I've lived here! I prepped a pot today to receive the next up and coming avocado sprout. It already has some complex roots, and the sprout itself is more than an inch above the seed. I usually let them get to ~6 inches tall before shifting them from the water to soil. Embers is doing very well, taking her meds... Sign in to see full entry.
