I'm not against criticism....
It is just the sorting out of what is constructive from what is destructive that challenges me. Lately, I am even seeking critique for some of my writing. Criticism?
I have learned to put negative critique in a drawer for a very long time. When I take it out again, dusty with the weeks of waiting, I find it much easier to sort out the applicable criticism from what is simply a differing of taste or opinion.
