This is an interesting article on setting the pace of your work. This is the first time I have gotten this notice, but the chapter it was checking was setting the scene for something else. Sign in to see full entry.

The Pro Writing Aid program 'grades' your work after uploading it. Most of my grades have been excellent or at least above their minimum acceptable points. However, I have two bad grades. The first one is a grade on 'Working Words' and 'Sticky Words.' Here is the link to their definition of the two.... Sign in to see full entry.
Updates
For the first time since the sudden onset of Parkinson's I developed in November of 2020, My hands are beginning to work correctly again. Typing requires a fine movement to hit a small area in a whirlwind of motion. I have been struggling with the problem, but my fingers seem to have begun to listen... Sign in to see full entry.

I got my Grammarly weekly 'report' early today, which is pretty indicative of my average output. This covers every email, FB post, the columns I write on Substack and other places, and even here. The high 'error' rate is mainly due to the keyboard I am using. It is slightly warped. I ordered a new... Sign in to see full entry.

As I've mentioned a few hundred times, I'm working on a novel that I am currently running as a Vella project. It seems to be doing exceptionally well on that platform, so I hope to launch it in mid-September as a paperback, ebook, and Audible story. I'm also working with Annicita on a story that,... As you've probably read, I came down with a nasty heart infection, and it stopped me from doing much writing. Very little can stop me from writing, but a fever of 103.6 can do it. I have to get back in gear, but it will be at least Thursday before that happens. I've been thinking of the plot of my... Sign in to see full entry.

If you've been paying attention to my drivel for a while, you know that I do a lot of Audible books. There's a reason for that. At first, I was writing because I liked to write. The thrill I got seeing my story with my name on Amazon was enough for me. Then my writing became an obsession. I made... Sign in to see full entry.

It's been a hectic few days, and I'm glad they are behind us. I'm a creature of habit, and I'm not sure what was more of a problem, the issues we were having or not being able to release my 'inner demons' by writing. LOL, Don't take that any deeper than I love writing almost as much as I love my... Sign in to see full entry.
