Since we haven't had time to go exploring yet, I'll be posting photos of the UP for a while yet. That's alright though, I seem to have tens of thousands of them taken over the course of six years while I was there. This article from Wikipedia has a lot of the history of the lighthouse that is... A Frozen Falls
If you remember me telling you how frigid it was in the UP in early December, that was then that we got this photo of the Munising Falls in Munising, Michigan. The water had slowed to a very slow flow, allowing it to begin to freeze. A local photographer (and there are a LOT of them) told me that it... Sign in to see full entry.

What Flower Is This?
I can not remember the name of this flower for the life of me. Its leaves are shiny, bright green waxy things that are heart-shaped. Either way, I thought it was beautiful! If you know the name, please let me know! Thanks! V Check it out! Sign in to see full entry.

The last of my editing story. I'm Just A Rabbit & It's A Habit As a junior high student, when the teacher gave us an assignment that had to be at least a thousand words or more, most of the class would groan in agony. I had been writing goofy kid's stories on a steady basis from the time I was... Sign in to see full entry.

Then it disappeared, and it came up about twenty feet from us. While I don't think that the catfish... Sign in to see full entry.

An Eagle Eating A Deer
While I had come close to clipping a deer when we lived in Florida, playing dodgeball with the creatures from mid-Georgia up is something else. In every state I have traveled where deer are present, spotting a dead car-killed animal is quite common. What is not common is seeing an eagle eating a... Sign in to see full entry.

A Long and Winding River
We took this one back in August of 2020 on our honeymoon. I can't remember the river's name right now, but it sure was beautiful. You may have to zoom back a bit on this one to fully appreciate it. Check it out. Sign in to see full entry.

Catching Holy Hades from A Squirrel
This gray squirrel was on the ground gathering nuts and other goodies when we stumbled across him. He began giving me all kinds of guff and then headed up the tree, where he started to lecture the dogs. Check it out! Sign in to see full entry.
