Once upon a time, there were in New Zealand thousands of majestic huge trees called Kauri (pronounced ka-o-ri). The tips of these giants were standing 100 feet (30 m) or more over our heads and their trunk were about 50 to 100 feet (15 to 30 m) of circonference. A few of these trees did survive...
