DAVID CAMERON, NEW TONY BLAIR FOR A NEW ENGLAND

Ok here's the definition of terms we need to begin to understand the British political scene: Labour Party -- Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Tony Blair's political partner, (majority party); Conservatives -- David Cameron, social liberal / fiscal conservative, new PM (majority party) LibDems -- Nick... SEMESTER ENDED, BUT THE WORK CARRIES ON INTO SUMMER

Yesterday I asked (again) the girls what day was their last day of class or finals. The weeks rush by, so I found out, as I'd hoped, both girls are finished with exams, no incompletes, and all passing grades -- even a few A's and B's. So I'm happy. Both girls will work all summer. Last year at this... Sign in to see full entry.

INSIDE OBAMA'S MIND...

Told God, and at least one other person about our wrongs, honestly. 6. Made up our minds to let God remove... Sign in to see full entry.

HEADACHES? FEELING THE RELEASE OF REPRESSED ANGER

Myself, I had emotions from several broken relationships that I was stuffing inside. It was driving my drinking. Instead of dealing with the loss, I was denying that it troubled me, and instead of feeling the discomfort of the negative memories, I was drinking and creating better, if only temporary,... HOW TO USE THE GRIEVING PROCESS DAILY

I think the first step in learning the grieving process is to define your feelings. At AA we learned "mad, sad, glad and scared." Those are cornerstone terms to help anyone who is trying to deal with issues; it assumes that there are many and varied words to describe a chorus of human feelings. Next... GRIEF, THE ROAD BACK

I did my first ten years of sobriety on adrenalin. I had married, started a family and was determined to make a go of it. The AA philosophy of one day at a time was working for me. But after ten years, I got to wondering how all these people were able to change their lives completely for so long. I... Sign in to see full entry.
