Your girls are doing well. I kinda remember Lena Horne,but perhaps she wasn't so well known over here? Good lyrics, though. Sadly true.

Lena Horn was a special special lady and I was sad last night to hear of
her passing. I think of all the special people that I admired when I was young...nearly all of them are gone. Does one just get too old?

Lovely lady, a favorite or ours I guess most my adult life. The National Brotherhood Week lyrics make me really sad. I am sorry this is true in your mind or anyone's. I dislike the wrong-doing of any white, black, brown or lavender but I like people for their individuality. All those who do not are missing a lot.

Summer
Looks like you are getting to together dsm, I enjoy your comments and do not mean to be rude with my answers which I try to finish in time to see what I have lost on the shares. I do follow your comments on some blogs and I am sure your appraisal is welcomed.
It does not take much reasoning to work out that you are a dedicated teacher and things have gone too far the other way in my opinion. I do hope to write a little about my childhood experiences of teachers, if only to annihilate ghosts of the past. Keep you chin up.
