Ciel, I'm glad you can stay home where you are safe and warm!  During winter storms I think home is the best place to be.

Re: Danielle,

We have had such yo-yo weather this year! I think the doves who have nested under the roof of my front deck for several years now, got convinced spring was here during one of the balmy weeks, and now are sitting on eggs! Luckily, even with all this snow, it isn't as cold as it was for a while, so they should be okay.

Re: You know it's not a good day when your area is featured

I think we need the snow more than the tornado warnings Minnesota is getting.  So far it's been more southern, but still.  I am still crossing my fingers for a better spring and summer this year.

I think Minnesota sent you its weather.

I live in Central Minneosta and what you are describing is what we've been missing all winter.  I hope you stay safe in this and don't go out unless you absolutely need to.  This winter has been more ice than snow it seems, except for a few areas here and there.  Ofc, 7 falls in the winter wonderland is beautiful.  Last time I was there, I was 10 and that winter had quite a bit of snow.  I am hoping to bring my kids to Colorado within the next couple years.

front & center on the Weather Channel's big news of the day. Looks like a marshmallow world all across that Rocky Mountain area, even Wyoming is catching a big snow.  Hope it doesn't create havoc in the Midwest, too, but that's the pattern.
