Thank you.
I was raised by a kind and caring father who taught me everything I needed to know. My book about him was both my very first published book and my first Audible book. He gave me a moral compass that has lasted me throughout my life. I strove to do the same thing for our children. My daughter is a RN in a CCU unit in Lansing now and my son is a Lt Major in the Army with nineteen years of service, including five as a field medic in Afghanistan where he picked up three purple hearts and two medals for bravery 'above and beyond.' I am extremely proud of them both.

Ahh, yes. As I've explained to you before, this girl has a strong drive. I'm not complaining, just asking for longer resting breaks! LOL
Seriously, we have fun with the back and forth. We are comfortable with one another, and that comfort and familiarity allows us to take jabs at each other.
I am going to be taking a trip to Florida in October. I have to conclude a business deal in The Villages and then visit an old friend of mine in Palm Beach. He was an actor who played 'bad guy' roles in 'Miami Vice' with Don Johnson and was in 'Pirates of the Caribbean,' along with many other bit parts. It would be nothing to swing from Palm Beach over your way. When I lived in Miami, I would come close to where you are as I heading to the Tampa area. I still am not sure if Lisa is going to come on this trip or not. I was going to fly down and rent a car, but Lisa doesn't like to fly. We will be back down for ten days later this winter, so if we miss you during this October trip, we could catch you the next time.

As tempting as that might be, I can't do that. I know what it is like to be hanging on to that last thread of the rope of Life, desperately hoping that someone might come along and help me.
It can be a pain, but I'm already living on time given to me by a series of miracles throughout my life. I consider my time talking with these people as partial payment for me being allowed to live, even after being shot at close range with a shotgun.
