Mrs.Sun has an air conditioner in the kitchen. It cools her bedroom. I have a draft. I pull up and over a light cover,  by the wee hours of the morning.

Someone in the equatorial third world came up with a passive a/c: 2-litre soda bottleswith their bottoms cut off, and the other end fit into holes drilled through a board--maybe 3 dozen of them. It is set into the window, wide end facing out, so air passing through them, cools down. It's physics. And it brings down the temp in the house significantly.

It is rip roaring hot here too.

We had a small lightning storm late yesterday afternoon, but afterwards, the humidity kicked back into high gear. It is hot again today. I am so grateful for our AC. Be safe and stay cool.

Well it has been hot here ,but the forecast meekly says 'No warm winds for quite a while. It is quite shivery today. Perhaps folk won't crowd on the Beaches if the sun hides behind clouds. Nice little comments from Amanda, sweet of her.
