It'll be nice when the tough days are behind us. 2020 has had so many things happening right now. Talk about a big metaphorical kick to the gut.

Hello Mam Kabu

You are always so caring, and that is one lovely quality that make us all gravitate towards you.

Rain has that effect on us. We tend to withdraw and think. We love you!

As for your drizzly rain, I believe that it is headed to Pittsburgh.

We need it, but then that lead's to a grass cutting job, but my flowers will be thankful.

Re: I agree with Sea_Gypsy.

She summed it up perfectly.

You are so sweet.

I believe that the times is literally why people are depressed. You never know when it is safe to walk, shop or clean up your yard. These are uncertain times, and the world could definitely benefit from your big hug.

You are the one who is always there for the Blogitsville family to cheer, encourage and sympathize with all. You carry us upon your wings, share your happiness and your hurt. May a little window of light shine through the doors of darkness for you. How I wish we could make it all better, sweet lady. We all care about you and Wiley John.

Well Kabu I used to look forward to visiting and I still do. Things change Wiley would want you to take any advantage possible. I know it feels heartbreaking but it is the best way forward . None of us know what the future will bring .You had such happy earlier days and it must have taken courage to uplift and make a new home. We all have to play it as it comes especially these days. Take care/

Kabu, you have made so many blah days bright for me - I only wish

I could return the favor. You are one of the sparkles on my decorated tree of life, and I treasure your imagination, your insight and your pure stubborn courage. If you're feeling down and looking on the dark side right now -- well, I don't know whether to say "welcome to the club" or "it'll look better tomorrow."  Stay safe. Write your feelings in a journal??? maybe that will change your direction.

I don't know if this helps, but years ago I read that a sugar craving is really a protein craving, that if you eat protein instead of sweets, it goes away.

The dull days get to me, too. But then, all the rain is good for the garden, and a rollicking thunderstorm does cheer me up!  About the rest, there comes a point where at least for a while, we need to take a break from it all. Faith that we are not the only ones in this, that there are powers greater than ourselves looking at a larger pattern, that the short-term victories of violence and cruelty, in the long run, create their own punishment.

They say that the poor will always be with us... I add to that, likewise the stupid, the short-sighted and mean-spirited. The best we can do, sometimes, is to simply broadcast love, like a lamp shining, and let others do what they will with the light.
