They are still working to contain the various streams and small rivers that converged into the river that was dammed. It's been a lot rainier down state than we have had up here in 'da UP.' With the main company affected being Dow Chemical, it is a serious problem. The president was here, toured the place, and is sending in engineers and such to shore everything up again. It won't take long to get the flood waters contained, but it will take a while to get the human damage controlled.
The bad thing is that Midland is expecting heavy rain again tonight.

Just got back after a two and a half hour walk with the dogs. I figure I walked over five miles, so the dogs got at least ten in. I'm going to write while they nap!
