It does seem a small reward for those poor guys. It would be nice to get the boy home, I know you can look after him better than most.

Angels are flitting all around the both of you. Take a deep breath and get as much me time in before he comes home and needs you 24/7....hugs

I'm so thankful for our soldiers who have helped preserve our freedom. Their deeds should never be forgotten.

One of my girl cousins put the special bed in the living room. It worked well for her. Wishing you both help and healing, and hope with a prayer attached.

Hello ma'am Kabu

Sir Wiley's slowly but surely recovering is a good news to share. I have him in my prayers.

Glad to hear Wiley is doing better. The bed in the living room sounds like a good plan. I bet Graysome will love to have him home again!

Re:

this is my thoughts. he can nap and watch his TV and easy to get him to sit in a chair to eat . I think that I can remove enough furniture to make it comfy and I can stay with him most of the day. i will just be right next to him for sleeping.

When one of my sisters got married years ago, the wedding was held at the home of the groom so that his father who was bedridden could take part in the wedding.  It was very nice and everyone enjoyed it so much.  His home was arranged so that he was right there with anything that took part in his home.  My grandmother had a similar arrangement after she aged and had a stroke.  As children we loved playing around her bed and wheelchair when she was in it for short periods.

It's good to read that your Wiley is in better spirits for the most part,

and his good hours are lasting a bit longer. It might make it easier for you to manage if you could get a hosp. bed in the living room. I hope you're able to get all the help you both need.  Nice to think that terrible war's been over for 100 years. Wish we could have ten years or so of actual peace on earth...
