You poor thing

wish I could package some of the weather here and send it to ya. I will have to admit that my feet are a little cold. Watering the yard in flip flops. Supposed to get cold here tonight, maybe down to 50. Stay snuggled up and keep Wiley warm. May is just around the corner. And in June, while your basking in the 75-80 degree temps, I'll be hiding indoors from the 95-105 temps here..

It looks like I am going to be hunkered down for a day or two once this snow comes...Chinese is not something I ever got into. Maybe my taste has changed. I guess I ought to try.

There is nothing better than good Chinese food

and nothing worse than bad Chinese food. And if you have bad Chinese, then it will follow that you will probably suffer what the docs call a Pyloric heart attack but what is actually just good ol fashioned heart burn.

So I hope ya'll hunkered down and didn't require a trip to a cold toilet seat to add insult to injury.

Take care and stay warm!

Well, now you know one more restaurant to avoid...

I know those lamingtons were a hit - especially by any folks at the meeting who'd had non-Chinese cuisine. Cute photo of a kitten in the snow... (We have 3" of snow this a.m. but it didn't stick to streets or sidewalks.) Looks pretty on the daffodils and blooms on the "tulip tree." Nice day for soup.

I'll have to tell you again Kabu. As Arthur keeps telling me Don't go out in the cold . Older folk cannot judge how cold they really are. It has been said that more die here in a cold winter than in Russia. One sees not as though I look, bits of wenches with flimsy . Also guys in suits shivering while waiting for a train that never turns up. I could go on I don't care for cinnnamon or most spices.

Kabu

People are travelling here to Toronto all the way from China to taste our world-famous Chinese cuisine! And of course I'm using that French term deliberately, to let you know it also has that special je ne sais quoi...

All days, my dear, should be "quiet ones"   That's the route to go.....

It's too cold, you are right! Poor Mr. G.! What a cute picture. Glad the lamingtons were a hit! You are right about good Chinese food in S.F. Good food in general there, I think. Their San Francisco sourdough bread, amazing! Here, there's not much in the way of good Chinese, at least to me. Or sourdough bread for that matter. LOL! I'm happy that you are able to care for Wiley so well. That's frightening, chest pain.

My goodness, winter will not go away for you! I hear you on finding a restaurant that serves good authentic food! Stay warm and glad you were able to care for Wiley! It has to be very frustrating for him! Love you dearly! Your sam I am

your cat photo says it all.  It's freezing here too, and now they are predicting a blizzard for Tuesday.  I thought spring was coming... guess not!  I'm cold!

Stay warm... order in next time, for delivery!  My favorite Chinese restaurant in the Springs suddenly vanished over New Year's and I have not yet found a replacement.
