I know where it lives A. It was a stray adopted by freindly neighbours. Sadly the wife has developed dementia and I think it worries the cat.

Well something eats the hedgehog food we had a gale yesterday it ripped the cover off the H.hs hideout but I managed to weigh it back down and they have loads of straw to curl up in.

No RP. I don't think they are strays two appeared today and we had to chase the new one off because it lives up the road and people don't like their cats being fed. Take care.

Well Pat it appears that sparrows have dropped in consideral numbers here. We are advised not to cut hedges if possible to allow more breeding sites and to put up nest boxes.

There's a gold tiger-striped cat who's got my place on his "route"
and I seem him in decent weather a couple times a month. He disdains contact. Enjoys watching the sparrows flirt in the bayberry bush by the back porch, and moves on.

Poor animals that are neglected. My heart breaks for them. You guys are kind and sweet and the animals know. Haven't heard about the hedgehogs for some time. Hopw they are OK as well.
