Hopefully, justice will prevail. As I recall, England went through or is going through something similiar with inquiries not being followed through upon.

Re: Kabuiepia-;)~
actually sweetpea, the National Liberal party in Australia is the Liberal/ National Coalition and it is the Centre Right Party. The Other Party is the Labor Party...so there is not much similarity in policies with todats Trunami situation here in Canada.

Kabu I am with you on this disgusting bunch of men who are sick, evil and should be brought down now. If nothing else let the parents of the country march to the Government and tell them to come clean, clean up that trash. But sweet lady do not be ashamed of your country the whole world is sick right now.

You have nothing to be ashamed of. Yes, this is unbelievably sad, but you are not the one guilty of perpetrating this horrible crime. You are obviously shocked, digusted...but ashamed? No, the Australian government are the ones who should be deeply ashamed of themselves.
My prayers go out to the children involved and to their families.

Their day will come
when they have to face the music. More than ever, the voice of compassion and decency is being raised and it's being heard.

Abuse of children is everywhere; so disgusting and heartbreaking..
I read recently about western businesses hosting "boy" parties for police trainees in Afghanistan and that the U.S. military has been told to look the other way and ignore the cries and begging of young boys being brutalized; apparently it also happens on U.S. bases too when Afghanis are there training and no doubt westerners fully participate too - makes me queasy and very uneasy - what kind of people have we became (on a global, universal scale) to be able to "ignore" these crimes against nature...

There's so much of this all over the world, Australia's not the worst
offender in this regard. You're so right! They (we all) could do better.
