I read this post when you wrote it, but it looks like I did not say a word in way of comment. So looking forward to you being back on a regular basis. It seems like you are far away.

That is sad about your old friend. It's tough to see someone . . . anyone . . . in that position. But at least you visited. And you can have all the rain you want! We certainly don't need it over here . . . !

after reading ciel's idea for travel i had a dream we were all on a cycling trip and made a stop at my dad's old dairy queen. coneys, chips and buster bars for all. fun dream. that doggie sure is something else. ace used to chew on my bedspread and i have a little hole in my sheet to remind me of him.

Sounds like Ciel plans for us to go 'round the world in 79 days or so...
I'd come if I could be guaranteed the pleasure of watching CCT juggle batons of fire while wearing a grass skirt. We know he must be given hazard pay for that gig. It's good to know things are good in Wagga Wagga, that a gentle rain is softening the harsh summer and keeping the balance. Home to Camelot in a week. Great news!!

Re: You should stay right there...
I think I will give Ciel's expedition a miss. It sounds a bit haphazard, I'll stay and look after the pets .Diet going OK/?

You should stay right there...
and we will all come down there! I suggest we build a grand hot-air balloon... a fleet of them! With catamaran outriggers attached in case they go down in the drink, and we'll each bring a paddle, just in case. We will stop in at the islands along the way, for breadfruit and grass skirts, and get CCT to learn to juggle fire while swaying to ukelele music. Wiley can collect coconuts to go with the monkeys that follow Adnohr and the puppies from our layover in South America. Of course, we will have to rescue the penguins we will find drifting on a melting iceberg up the Humboldt Current. Pat will keep us amused with stories, and TAPS will make some wonderful dishes of the flying fishes...
If anyone else wants to come, they can tell what they'll contribute to the great balloon boat journey.
