Re: CCT,

I wonder if your black birds are crows.  We had a yard full of crows in several generations, years ago, noisy, belligerent, and rude.  Then about a mile off, several fast food places were built and created a whole new attraction for them.  They all left, and suddenly our songbirds came back. Cedar waxwings loved the holly berries just outside the window-- They are pretty birds!

Your birds must be a good source of fertilizer if you can get it where it's needed.

Ciel There are about twelve Black birds outside my window  they fight, fornicate and gobble up cat nibbles and generally make a mess which I have stared to hose down each day. I think they have degenerated into some kind of Zombie bird. Sadly we rarely hear the song thrush and I have not heard the cuckoo for a year or so. Perhaps the territories are so close together here that it is a waste of effort.

Well, it does sound somewhat serene. But then again, I guess it can't be that noisy if the cat can snore through it all . . .
