I think it was time she learned how to play! This is an awesome series! And, I was pleased that I made your day today! You are very deserving, too! sam

i am really enjoying the ABC of men written by our Pat.

This one was way too slow in the head for your brain to endure and one of the reasons that i married my first husband was because he didn't drool when he kissed me. a nice gentle kiss with a hint of passion...not at all WET.LOL.

Pat..

I can picture the two of you in the theater balcony watching "The Thing"...between the chills the movie offered and the door open slightly added to, its a wonder the two of you couldn't hear each other's teeth chattering..a great little story....

This would make a great collection of short stories - it's amazing how much life you can fit into such a small story!

You tell these stories so well, it feels like I'm there,

invisibly watching over your shoulder.  Perhaps knowing Chehalis and Morton and the Northwest, myself, makes some of that happen, but mostly it's your way with words.

I remember, vaguely, when movie theaters had balconies. another missed charm of the past.

Pat

Another great growing-up tale! And I shudder to think what would have happened to 'slow David' and you if you two had become an item, impossible as it sounds, LOL. Oh, and I don't know how to play pinochle either...
