Re: Re: Re: wiley Ciel

I hope your sister in law feels better soon, and it might cheer her up to know that the dodo was the largest member of the pigeon family.  Can you imagine them in the city, swarming for bread crumbs?!

And I am pretty sure that all men are very naughty, and a good many women, too.

Re: Re: wiley Ciel

He is very naughty Ciel, but he has a kind heart so no problem. I do do, no that's an extinct bird it was so naive that the early settlers eliminated it for food. I expect you know that, but I thought I would mention it as I am pondering over things that I must do tomorrow. My brothers wife is ill and it is on one's mind subconciously. Be good

Yes... well... My comment was more subtle.  Don't be distressed, some of us have similar troubles with words like 'count.'

My daughters have taken to a little gardening in the back yard...

They know their Dad still can't quite bend enough, or kneel on the ground to do it..nice of them as I didn't even have to suggest it....

CCT

Even your failures were successes compared to my own failed attempts at growing anything. Plants even seem to walk away from me for some reason, LOL. So now I leave all those matters to my LSW...

Re: Kabu

Yes take it easy, you have probably become a bit soft over the winter. Don't get lugging things around until you recover. Nice to have you back, well nearly.

Re: You have such an interesting gardening technique!

WEll it is like everything else Ciel one moves with the times. To most these days it is an expensive hobby.  I work out to produce a potato as some gardening firms suggest would cost  quite a dollar.

Gardening can be hard work if one does it right.  My Dad used to spend hours hoeing in the hot sun.  But, he loved working in his garden.

I am delighted to come home and see green sprouting everywhere at last

and some of my perenials that are showing signs of having survived the big freeze this last winter was. of course Australia was dry in parts and lush in others.

My mother had a green thumb; she could put a twig in a glass of

water and it would sprout. My thumb's more purplish and I can turn a thriving plant into a wisp of dried bits in less than a month unless I invoke her spirit to attend it.
