Really? That turkey is still striking out with the ladies? Well, I guess he knows he's got all the time in the world and won't end up on your dinner table . . . !

They will never know if you don't tell, sounds right for a cold day. The girls are being coquettish; animals are not completely different from humans. I admire those who brave the extreme winters. Nice picture!!

Yum. Your dinner sounds wonderful, delicious AND healthy....
As for the turkey cock, I'd name him Elvis. The kids once set up an acquarium in a corner of the kitchen, a variety of tropical fish - and I felt a bit like a cannibal whenever we had fried fish for dinner.

Just make sure the word doesn't get out to those ornery birds out there! Remember that movie by Hitchcock, The Birds? Can you trust those Gnomes to keep their traps shut? And oh, never mind the hips and the girlies, I just want her waist...

Supper was scrumptious, it should hold us 'til noon tomorrow anyway. Now that you're on the telephone back there in the office I've slipped dessert into my sweater pocket.

Great picture of you. No one would ever guess by looking at it that you had a piece of dead turkey in your house.

I've got homemade veggie soup and ham/cheddar cheese wraps here. Oh and lemon iced cupcakes for dessert; may have to try one of those first...

I kept a couple of hen turkeys once, a white and a bronze.
The bronze was so pretty in sunlight! And the eggs were big and tasty.
And I have no doubt, after dealing with their temperaments for a while, that birds are indeed the distant children of dinosaurs.

Great, smiley picture, Madame Kabu! I don't believe turkeys can smell, so there shouldn't be a riot when the tantalizing odor of the cooked fowl wafts outside...
Have you heard from CCT? He seems to be absent again.
