Hi .. Your thoughts and photo's are great and glad your son called on Mother's Day. The quiet Mother's Day that I planned was not to be .. daughter and grand/daughter and SIL flew in from Florida. They had the surprise planned with there brothers and sisters and the gang arrived early morning to my complete delighted surprise
. They just flew back a few hours ago.

one thing about my place, it is silent most the time, because most residents are ouver 55

Sounds like you had a lovely day. I'm so glad. Don't worry - sons eventually come back. Once their brains return to their bodies - my son did, it just took a while. He called me yesterday too.

God bless you dear lady. Son #1 is a blessing and Son#2 will see what he is missing one day, until then just try to not think of it and be happy with your sweetheart husband. We love you guys.
