How cool, I write poems in my head, too! I like to water my garden on hot days too, it keeps them from getting less stressed from the heat! sam

Here on the Island we're sitting inside riding out the pouring rain - not much of a summer weekend.

I hate this 90f heat, good thing we have the AC. I'm happy you have a relationship with your granddaughter and keep yourself in the loop back there love. It's a joy to see you outside in your gardens, the picture of happiness.Love is just grand and I love you.

I'm glad your granddaughter emails you Grandmummy.  Your garden is beautiful.

I have 5 grandsons and ONE granddaughter. It's true - they are special, because they are little dames like us. Love your flights of fantasy!

Well, it's cool in here, but I've got to get out in pretty quickly now.  I have things to do, and places to go, and people to see.

I wager that throughout the day your mind and thoughts are replete with poems and stories of far-off lands and magical beings who you wisely let them go about their business, merely standing apart from them and quietly observing. I love your work for its directness. J

I love girls at that age. Esp. granddaughters.
I remember 4th grade, thinking boys were just plain evil, but Mama said one day I'd find them necessary.

Grubs are the main course for moles, which tunnel underground
with their ultra sensitive noses searching them out. Then the unwary human who walks on the tunneled ground can find it shifting beneath the feet. It's dog-eat-dog in this world...

Darling this was so fantastic. I remember my own at that age. Keeping up with her will keep you even younger than you already are. Love you sweet lady.
