I admire the optimism too, TZippy. It means even more after reading about where you've been.

I am printing this, framing it and hanging it on a wall in my office at work.

I really liked your poem! It is filled with promise! As far as the ogre, it is right to expose him! He does not need to be epitomized on any level! He is a murderer and an abuser! It is difficult for folks to respond, I experienced the same when i put my story out there! Thanks for yesterday! I have been pondering your two thoughts and I have a stress headache from it, but I am forging ahead in order to be successful! You are speaking up for your brother and I find that to be commendable! sam

Great to be a light!  Glad the devil is gone, sorry he was never caught while he was here.

Oops Tzippy, I meant not to give up..lately with this new path I'm on, doubt creeps in, but I'll keep holding on to the light.

Of the poems I've read of yours.. there is a constant message not give up.. a positive path. to fight for what you believe in...you see with an open heart "who we are" and you know it's much deeper than flesh.FlowerValentine heart bottle

When I read your painful journey posts, they effect me as if they are happening now, at the time I am reading them, and I want very badly to make it end for you and make it all right.  Sometimes I do not know what to say and hence do not comment.  Great work on your poem.

I feel so much hope while reading this poem...Very important it is for you to tell your story. Your story needs to be out here. I would encourage others to do the same.

the poem is fantastic...the way optimism wins; going forward

after acknowledging doubt...fantastic.

As for youe writing yes it is difficult to read but important too...Generations tp come need to know that he was a monster and who knows someone reading it may be in similiar trouble as your Mother and she may reach out for help in time. Brave one write on.

Always...always....
be positive!   The negative wears you down, mentally, spiritually, and physically......never let it win!

Tzippy
To someone like me who is neither given to optimism nor, and maybe surprisingly, to much pessimism, this is a poem of refreshing optimism...

Tzippy - Sooner or later the truth will be known and you have shared your views and pain. It will take its course and be known for sure all in good time. That poem you wrote is outstanding...Excellent job Tzippy. You should write more poems. Thank you for the visit.
