I can't imagine how long that place must have sat vacant to accumulate such
a dusty mess.

What a terrible disappointment for all of you, but you have certainly described it well! And I suspect things won't get any better for a while...

What a nightmare. And somehow it seems much worse when it's a happy dream of anticipation which turns into a nightmare. Looking forward to the next episode.

It had to be a rude awakening! Your poor mom, caught in the middle! This man is such a monster! I loved how she stayed up attempting to clean to make it home for her children! She is an awesome person! sam

My heart goes out to you for having to experience such a filthy place! I would have wanted to have gone home as well, I would imagine...

Wow, I have never been an immaculate house keeper but nothing quit that bad, it sounds like some of the houses that some people were forced to leave in a foreclosures and were invaded by hoodlums

It's awful, but since you started with a rainbow...
I'm hoping things will improve. As for the stepfather, what a schmuck!

What a story you have to tell.  I know everybody has a story with some good parts and some bad parts.  But yours seems to go from bad to worse.
