What a heart rendering story, Tzippy
Fascinating and complex in regards to your homeland, but the joy shines through pure and simple. Well done!

How very interesting and joyful! You have a marvellous capacity for conveying the excitement you felt, as indeed you described the agonies after your accident so compellingly as well...

Wonderful post, Tzippy! Your words painted the picture of a young girl's excitement, pleasure and gratitude so well, I was smiling as I mentally celebrated with you!

Information

Dear Madam

Reference your enquiry i.e gardening feature. This is not meant to educate or inspire anyone. It is simply a mixture of incidents which have occurred or might manifest themselves, if the conditions are suitable. Unfortunately these blogs read backwards as you know. I wish I had not started this, it is a bit off the limb. Sadly of real life one would not venture to portray on this medium. More sadder still these characters are beginning to take on a life of their own. Well that is when I release them to play a part. So I sympathize with you and could not post a reply different to this as I can't work out how the system works.

I will follow your blogs as you do not write too many, or are you going to expand rapidly?

No answer needed. Precise enquiries can be answered twice a day, unless, no sorry I am paid up for a year and making hay while the sun does not shine, because I shall be busy gardening in the spring. If this does not make sense, please do not be afraid to ask for further details and don't trust these spell checkers.

I am anxious to know more....I need to read back through your blogs, perhaps, and see if there are more clues to this story...It leaves me just itching to know the details of this life-changing event. And such bless-ed friends! They really, really cared. That just convinces me that it is SOOO the thought behind the gifts, isn't it? That they would care so much...very, very sweet. Of COURSE you'll remember this for life; who wouldn't. Thank you for sharing this, Tzippy!

This is fabulous. That's what gifts and giving should be about, not about "How much can I get?"

People treasure things they've never had....things so many take for granted...Memories are Christmas gifts that can't be seen...A beautiful, charming article.

Back again with more to say.
I find here after several reads an extremely poignant moment in time in a young girls life. You have expressed the feelings of joy and wonder at receiving gifts and a life changing experience in both prose and poetry wonderfully intertwined together. You are such an expressive writer and the editing I am sure has enhanced this work. Ah editing so necessary. well done lovely one and greatly enjoyed by me.

A well written story/poem of a girls Bat Mitzvah if I'm correct, and extremely interesting to me as I have a loving connection to Judaism luv. If I am wrong then I am sorry for not understanding.

Darling sweetie what a silly I am sometimes. It comes from living in my own
world of Zorg. Iam trying to say that I was quite happy with what I  wrote forgetting in my last comment, forgetting that you weren't in my head where what I was thinking was that this is so wonderful with so much to absorbe that one read of this blog is not enough and I must come back which I have now done....and probably left you more confused than ever. Wiley is still trying to work me out. Tis OK IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE........Think I will leave now before it gets even more confusing.....ever been lost in a maze before?

Much better than the original Tippy! I'm glad I was able to help you find your words.  And I bet those mountain walks helped out a lot! This poem has so much more heart and passion than what you started out with and now it has what it was missing...
