I meant it as linear balance, Damond, not circular balance. Cause leads
to effect.  In karma, it's circular balance in a cancellation effect.  Or maybe I'm having a metaphysical psychic break or something...

Re: You Buddhist or Hindu, SEEDLINGS? I'm not much of a believer in karma.

Isn't what you just described pretty much what karma is?  Anyway, that is what I always thought and why I kind of do believe in it.

Exes are better left in far off places, TAPS. Here's hoping he stays far
from you...

I was terrorized by my ex-husband at the funeral of my ex-DIL.  His wife has several health issues and has not been doing well and he said to me, "I hate Florida!  If something happens to my wife, I'm moving back to K.C. in a heartbeat."  That scared me to death.  I surely don't want him "stalking me" again.

You Buddhist or Hindu, SEEDLINGS? I'm not much of a believer in karma.
Things happen.  Things cause them to happen. Things that happen cause other things to happen.  That's how I see it.  However, I'm glad that a brute got his comeuppance.  Makes you feel like there is some sort of balance to things...

Hmmmm, by golly, come to think of it, perhaps this is why I am not afraid of terrorism threats, I was married to a terrorist for 20 years, I called him my cell mate, for he certainly was not my soul mate. Funny thing about Karma though, is that sometimes it comes back to bite you in the ass in the same life time. My ex is now a poor, shell of a man, afraid, sad and confused, no longer able to beat up on women to make himself feel big.
