It sounds like good sleeping to me.  No remembrance of dreams probably means you are deeper into REM sleep which is a good thing.    Enjoy the snooze and the Christmas season.

Yes, it sounds as if you are healing nicely!
I tend to stay up late, but then wake up regardless between 7 and 9 every morning.  My recall and thinking suffer from continual short sleep, and I have to make an effort to be sure I get enough.  Didn't last night, again...

Glad to hear that you're doing better. I have trouble sleeping, too.

Geeeze, I hope I don't have to have a heart attack to get off the PM pills! I've been trying to wean myself of the PM pills just because...they can't be good for me...right? I've been doing okay, mostly taking Melotonin from the health food store and even then I like to see if I can just place the pill on the side table and wake up and see that i forgot to take it. I want to retain the natural state of sleeping, like when I was a child. Stay well offy.

Offy, take care, and thanks for stopping over. Hey, I didn't know CD
was from Louisville.  My last professional band job as a guitarist in a disco band, was at a riverside hotel downtown Louisville, June 1980.  Can't remember the name.

sleeping habits

I noticed that my sleeping habits changed after my heart attack also. I still dream tho, but my sleep is more intense now.

i went to sleep at 1130 and woke up at 1 34am... was up until after 5 and
then awake for the day at 730.... that happens when i am worried about a cat or kitten and usually get up to just spend time with the poor baby.

Very interesting!  I hope you are completely healed now...best wishes and good luck.  Maybe...I don't know...dreams are strange animals...I sometimes remember them in great detail and other times only parts of them...best wishes for your health.  Mari

when I have time off, like I do now, I try to sleep in to at least 8am but sometimes that hard as my body is use to getting up at 6am to go to work.  And I use to us those PM pills but dont now either.  And boy the dreams I have wow, I cant remember them but know they are upsetting.

Good morning, Sally.................................
What did you mean, "Are you missin' me yet?"    Of course, I miss you all the time.  Now I know where you're hiding - IN BED!  hahaha

Good Morning, Offy hon
After your recent experience, you have to look after yourself, and get the sleep you need! I haven't had much lately, and what did it get me? The flu I'm coming down with! So it's chicken soup for me today...

Yes, don't be happy if you start needing very much less sleep.....needing more was your body's way of taking care of its self because you weren't.  I was always happy that I didn't
"need" more than 5-6 hours sleep a night...HA!  They now know that all of us need 7-8 hours sleep or more...period. Your body is smarter than you are (no offense) and since the big alert of the heart attack, if you will cooperate, it will try to do a better job of defending itself against it's biggest enemy...you! Good morning, sweetie....I'll quit lecturing now...have to get ready for work now...we're back on the 7 days schedule now with all the storms now.......sure wish I could go back to bed....I don't have any problem at all snoozin'!

I too am a late riser, Sally
It is an old habit of mine to sleep at the very dead of night...
