It is like the flipsides of a coin
As a child I spent all of my holidays with family on farms - it was the best of times for a kid. Later I thought for a nanosecond about a marrying a farmer. Part of me regrets the life that was not to be but not enough to do it

Real farm life starts before 5:a.m., you shovel manure, work hard. :)

Joe - I will say the barren hill doesn't look so great in the winter...but
then it is positively spring like here lately

Trust me.  You want to keep that little apartment in Nashville. . . , and bump the barren hill.  LOL

"Sitting on top of a hill isn't that fun for a single person."  No doubt.  Does anyone ever live the life they've envisioned for themself?  Happy birthday!

I am living exactly the opposite life I had intended for myself
I was going to fly all over the globe and live in a Manhattan Apartment or a Greenwich Village loft.  Instead, I live in a quiet farming community, married to the polar opposite of who I had expected and I plant things, can things, freeze things and I have the best life I could ever hope for.
