Joe_Love, I love a good
Christmas display.  Just make sure you don't wear any mistletoe belts or Mrs. Glick might get the wrong idea.  Happy holidays

I agree with robcutforth's comment on your earlier blog...

I'm also pretty new and your blog quickly became my first stop...and the great news is...kind of like when you finally discover an old school band...there's plenty of old stuff for me to get caught up on while I wait for new material to come out...and I look forward to every bit of it.

P.S. And speaking of returning favors for extra-cheery holiday cheer, any suggestions on how I can pay back my nice coworker whose cell ringtone is "Grandma Got Runover by a Reindeer"?  I tried the peep show route but apparantly nakedness is "frowned upon" in the Parish courthouse.

Dear Joe,

I'm glad you enjoy my holiday display. You are absolutely right about my enjoyment of your... er... indoor nature walks. As they say here in Quiet Town -- one good turn deserves another.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Glick.

p.s. I found this amazing planter nestled alongside my radish bed. It looks something like a pumpkin pie (or a mother ship) and I've planted it with daffodil bulbs. See you later...

Hi, Joe_Love,
How funny.  And the picture of Rudolph covered in lights adds a cute touch.  Thanks for the holiday cheer.  :)

Why don't you like her lights?

One reason I love your stuff, Joe (one 'love' per sentence is enough, LOL)
is that your wit is as dry as fine champagne...

That is funny, Joe!
And Timmy may be right -- try to put on a garland or something. Or do what I do this time of year -- wear a misletoe belt buckle.

Taps
Of course I won't be sending her this care, however, I am going to get her a card and tell her how pretty her lights are (even though I've never uttered a single word to this woman).

joe_love, your exhibition of "the real thing" made me wonder if you just happened to read lionladroar's answering comment to me when I asked him if he had ever streaked.  Its a hoot.  Check it out if you missed it.  http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Comments.aspx/425967   I hope that you really did send that letter to your neighbor.  I think she would get a kick out of it.

Perhaps the next time you decide to walk around in your birthday suit, you could wear some garland or something to make  it seem a bit more like christmas?

"Tis the season when, come evening, the ground begins to shake
in those neighborhoods with the really big light displays, as their meters go 'round and 'round!  It probably has a noticeable effect on global warming, too...
