40+ Posts, Hundreds + comments, 0 Response. ONE SOLUTION

There are more than 40 posts where .Dave is named and many others where he is referred to where people are seeking an explanation and  calling for his reinstatement. Many have stated that they have written to blogit staff. This is a community. A large number of people from the community have spoken. Do not make the mistakes of many larger organisations that take the line of arrogance and ignore loyal clients.

Reinatating .Dave.

If someone from the staff could explain exactly how .Dave. was spamming it would be much appreciated.

Give Dave back!

I never used this blog so far and I'm very touched to see that now it is full with protest about Dave.

Just now I see how popular he was as I see bloggers speak the words of admiration and protest who I never heard of before.

I can not find anything wrong in his blog - at least that obviously wrong which would deserve banning without warning.

I was envying his genius mind that created infinity club. Blogit people you should learn from Dave how to creat a community with the simplest ideas. You should hire him and visit his workshops. Maybe then you would understand the point of his blog. If you don't let Dave back you can lose at least 20 other Blogers aswell. At least. Mind you, we can meat other forums on Internet.

What is going on? Is it true?

Is Dave really banned for being silly? Was he warned? Was anyone else told what this mysterious policy being enforced was?

Did he not pay to blog like the rest of us? What horrible thing did he do? I call upon a Blogging Freedom of Information Act.

Oh, and bloggers- I am paid up until Feb. but I will probably not stay.  (Posted here so I will not be accused of trying to get clicks by threatening to leave.)

Re: .Dave.

I am aware that it is not your habit to re-install bloggers that you have banned for one reason or another, but I am asking for special dispensation in this case.  He has given encouragement, assistance and inspiration to so many and is especially lauded for his wit, humor and good will.  We need more of his attributes at Blogit, not less.

Thank you for your consideration,  TAPS.

Community explain this to me!

We have some really mean spirited people on here. Over the years I have learned to try to stay out of their way. I have been turned in and have some restrictions because of it. I am not opposed to anyone having their opinion but this is not about that.

.Dave has been a clever, fun and widely read writer on here. He was taken off for reasons I can't understand. Posting too often. I thought that was part of the instruction to get readers. I truly am confused I am with those who are not backstabbing.

Just tell me how rigid those of us who want to enjoy this place have to be while others on here call us all sorts of names and turn us in and get our blogs off the featured lists and many things. Let us know in some clearer form how we can walk on eggs and fend off all the stuff that comes at us.

Thank you,

Justi

Save Dave

I echo the comments below. Dave's banning seems overly sudden and harsh. What rules did he break - or did he just annoy someone? If so, does one person complaining mean that we get kicked off? We really nee some clarification so that we can continue with confidence. When you look at the site generally, there is political satire - that is allowed, and rightly - religious arguments - again, it makes the site more lively and is therefore good - and personal arguments between bloggers. Sometimes these end in one blogger blocking another. All this happens regularly. On repetition, people repeat posts from time to time. Dave, strictly speaking, did not repeat his posts on Counting to Infinity - each one was different, and effectively it was a forum for chat. Is that the problem with it - it was too popular? Is it too much chatting you don't want, or too many earnings by one person? All we are asking is that you tell us what we can and can't do - and what he did that was wrong, otherwise people will be helpless to avoid a repeat of the situation, or may perhaps break some other hidden rule that we are not aware of.

Thanks in advance.
