The Town Square

I don't understand this banning either..a blogger who is positive and supportive of other writers suddenly shut out for what reason? I realize the administrators of this site aren't required to answer our concerns, but this is the kind of shock that transforms people's interest and investment of time, effort and money. Many of us are now uneasy and unsure about our own postings as we can find nothing in the conduct policy that was violated. Hoping this issue will be addressed soon; moreso for the decision to reverse.

I am writing to voice my concerns over blogger Dave's too. He's one of our most entertaining and creative writers. If he pays his dues why should it bother you what he writes so long as he is not attacking or hurting anyone? I really don't understand your decision on this one guys....I wish you would reconsider.

I have not been active on Blogit.com now for about two weeks.

I can't even begin to describe my shock, surprise, and great disappointment to find on my return that .Dave. has been banned.

I think of .Dave. as one of the pillars of this website. He was very kind to me when I was a newbie here, and I have learned much from this most creative person; I think of him as a mentor, friend, comic, and community leader in addition to his being a marvelous writer. I cannot bear to think of a Blogit.com without .Dave.

I am truly saddened and greatly puzzled by .Dave.'s banishment from Blogit. He is not a writer of hate-filled vitriolic ranting. He doesn't post anything ugly, or offensive, or in my opinion, hateful/and or controversial. Quite the opposite, in my opinion, .Dave. is a breath of fresh air. He is funny, witty, creative. He is a champion of the underdog, and a teacher extraordinaire. His many postings to his Blogs are each a source of pure entertainment...

I do hope the powers that be here at Blogit.com will reconsider their decision to ban .Dave., and will reinstate him to full Blogging status. I also hope that, like Stat, a full explanation of why this has happened will be forthcoming. I shall be waiting, and hoping to see .Dave. fully reinstated.

I am wondering about the decision to ban .Dave. from Blog it. I suppose the question is, how was the numbers blog spamming? Or repeating? The numbers actually helped a lot of people dislodge creative thoughts, which is a pretty important component to a writing site. I know I got several ideas from it. Besides, it was entertaining -- I see nothing malicious, self-serving, or otherwise contrary to Blog It rules as most of us undertand them.

I certainly understand -- and applaud -- decisions to remove vitriol from the atmosphere here. However, I am definitely not understanding this one.

I would appreciate any insight you could give me, and the community here, into this.

I had to redo my story which actually is a book that I wrote several years ago.  But I never had a copyright until now.  I lost all of my reviews that were in my replies.  I would love it if you could go back and put in your replies to me.
