Chapter XXIV Jessica stared into the darkness and felt the wind blowing the dark strands of her hair. She watched in quiet desperation as Damon lugged an unconscious Aron away. She couldn’t help not trusting Damon. Jessica lifted her chin and stared daringly at Damon’s departing back, wishing she had could throw her knife at it.
