Chapter V Aron pulled Jessica up into his arms, and leaving her stepfather behind, he took her to his apartment with his mind. He hadn’t meant to knock Jessica out, but his power was so full of anger that it overflowed and he sent out too much. If he hadn’t aimed some of it at her as well, he would have killed that man. Although, he would have gotten what he deserved. Aron set Jessica down on his bed gently and left his room. His fun in the sun and outburst of power had drained him. Bloodlust...
