The Dysfunctional Marriage Manual of Planet Rutt

By Ima S. Tupid Let Me Call You Sweetheart as Long as I Can Pick Your Pocket Have you ever been caught in a time warp on a foreign planet? This is just that kind of story. I'll be willing to bet there are many of you out there. You come from a dysfunctional family but have witnessed from time to time normal family units. You have a spiritual belief so hope is always a part of you or not depending on your religion. I mean you could have hope but feel guilty because you have hope. You experience... Never Leave the Washing Machine Lid Up When Going to Find More Clothes

Many years ago on the planet Rutt that I used to live on, my two young children and I lived in a big farm house with the Prince of Rutt. Behind our house was an old chicken hatchery and the Prince dearly loved chickens as pets. He talked about getting chickens to raise from the moment we moved into our house. I had grown up on a small farm with chickens and pigs that we grew for our food each year. Chickens as pets didn't register with me but having just a few chickens and a rooster would be... How Do You Gage That Your Parenting Skills Were Successful

As my children were growing up, I was always told how well behaved they were by other adults at school and church or other social gathering. At Home it was sometimes a different story as I often had to herd them in and I couldn't always take them out in public but I could dress them up and sit them on the couch. They did look good sitting on the couch. I was talking to a friend at church who was a child pychologist who explained to me that having your children behave well in public most of the... Do Not Multitask While Transporting Moonshine.

A local news story just reported sounds like an episode of Mayberry RFD. A man from Florida was pulled over crossing the mountain under suspicion of DUI. He past the field sobriety test but when the officers looked into the car, he had a jar of moonshine sitting in plain sight. They searched the car and found 30 boxes of quart jars filled with moonshine. He told the officers he comes up here once a year or so to purchase the moonshine. This finding led to a search of the mountain with... Sign in to see full entry.

The Lesson in Life Wanted to Avoid Most

Life's journey begins with a set limit of time that we will stay on earth. As long as that reality looms in the future, we rarely think about our transition to a higher plane until we have to look this reality in the face. The older we get, this fleeting look is more often but the "I" that is so connected to this earthly plane does not let us really contemplate that this realization that our spirit has met the goals we set for our life here on earth or at least took positive steps in that... Losing a weight of the past; a lesson learned

My ex and I have a nice friendship now. I have been there to support him many times over the years. If he was stressed or in disstress then my children were also, so I have always been there to help and Richard has as well. He and I have also always been on the same page as far as parenting decisions. He is on his own again and has finally achieved a happy place in life. I had always told him he could be. My daughter told me he was flying to Albany, NY to buy a motorcycle. Odd one might think... Sign in to see full entry.

Ism's

You can lead a horse to water but if you can get him to lie on his back and float then you've got something. Try, try again and then just give up and go to bed. Them that ask no questions are them that get no lies. When all else fails, go to the beach. If I could read your mind, I wouldn't be asking all these stupid questions. If the shoe is on the other foot, then you've got your shoes on the wrong feet. You can dress the children up but you can't take them out. However, they look darn good... Sign in to see full entry.

Grandma-isms

Grandma-isms are life lessons learned by my Dad and Mom. My Dad is on another plane, most of the time, but my Mom is called Grandma. They always had a thought for the day. If your not in the lead, the view is always the same. Grandma's favorite: Don't pee in my ear and tell me it's raining. On the other hand, there was a glove. You can't put an old head on a young body. A hard dick has no conscious. Sign in to see full entry.

Surrounded By The Light

There is a Light that's faraway just beyond my reach. It's color indescribable; It's brilliance beyond compare. As I strain to touch the Light, There is a voice within. Take off your shroud and let me shine. I've been here all the time. My light is indescribable; My brilliance beyond compare.skye2006 Sign in to see full entry.

Wellness

I slip into Wellness as a comfortable sweater. Surrounded by it's security and the pleasure of it's touch. It engulfs me like the touch of sunlight. Each cell of my body straining to feel the warmth and softness as it glides through my body. Holding each second on memory to be worn again.skye2006 Sign in to see full entry.
