Remembering in Sorrow

Remembering In Sorrow Every breath I take is a chore Every passing day it becomes more and more Not long ago I knew, the misery I know now For to feel the losses I have felt, It weighs upon the soul Every step I take is with the dignity that I knew of the persons once standing before me Tis’ a shame, they are no more I’m in a state of complete darkness I just sit My soul battered and torn and confused But then I smile with the understanding that we will meet again.
