Who?... you!

Who? by: David W. Smith It's Haunting when I think- of all the people you could be. someone rich and famous, who lives a life of ease. Someone who lives in boxes, who digs through the trash for food? I sit here and I wonder, if one of these are you? Were you beaten up as a child were you hurt by your own dad? was your mother so abusive in chains your heart is clad? Or..are you the manipulator? who always has to have his way and when you do not get it It's all the other lives that pay. I sit here... Sign in to see full entry.

My writing has been greatly inspired by my favorite author, Dr. Seuss. They (my poems) are simple, humorous, witty and always carry a punch. most are words of wisdom. All are written from life experiences and dreams. My one published work is "Poetry with wit" I am currently writing a book about my life called "Rides on waves", which is a compilation of about 40 short stories of my life growing up. they
