Humanity?

I wrote this poem as a result of the story in my Rides on waves blog, for an instant in time my eyes were opened then in the following instant, they closed again. Rides on waves..."My angel experience" Humanity? why does he still reach down to a people, who are so filled with pride? so full of ourselves, we can not see the tide. we build our "Great Mansions" along his shores. oblivious of the tsunami that shall one day pour. by covering our eyes we can only "then" see the shame of our puny,...
