At Thursday's T O P S meeting, I ended up volunteering to reorganize the birthday list. These elderly ladies have barely encountered computers, so I was handed several pages of very old-fashioned cursive writing on pages, yellowed with age and marred by score-out marks with " deceased" printed on... I go to TOPS

I used to go to weight watchers, under the mistaken impression that once I reached goal, I could continue to go there, as a lifetime member, without having to fork out the weekly fee. WRONG! I'm working on my resume. The library needs someone to do " low man on the totem pole" work on short notice when someone calls in sick. One of the requirements is that you can use a computer. Friday Morning in A Small Canadian Town.

It's -17 degrees celsius. The sun is out and the weekend approaches. Life is good. Town will be busy today, as it's payday for those mills which are still functioning. We've taken the daughter and grandson home.

How quiet the house is! And, if a person were inclined that way, he/she might think a little housework in order. I'm pretty lucky that way though! I can turn a blind eye with ease! I Made It!

Here I am, overnight at my daughter's place. The drive was just fine. The roads were bare and I just went at my own speed, which, if it bothered others, they had the option to zoom past me in a hail of gravel. I was blasting Pavarotti and Planxty alternately.
