I have one of those keys, and thought it was a life-thing too. If it's about being within the right weight scale, I guess my key is no good either. Have been catching up in here, and really liked your post about how nice it it to have the children back for visits. I totally agree - it's one of the nicest perks (and there are many) about growing older.

The thing about KOPS as you enjoyed it...
if you never lose an ounce, the experience itself is good for you. For me, losing weight happens when I decide to eat only what's good for me. If I had one smidgen more of self-discipline, I'd be getting in the dancing in the kitchen or the daily walks to get me in good shape, no matter how much I weigh.

Good for you luv, I'm trying to lose as well and have o0nly managed 2kg in the past 3 months but I am on the treadmill more and more since the heart attack. The cardiac guy told me it will come of automatically if I get more faithful to the  walking. Good luck to you with KOPS ....

You can do it!
I've been counting points for the last 9 weeks and have lost about 8 pounds.  I've done WW in the past and lost about 15.  I'm about where I want to be now but will try to maintain by continuing to count and journal my food.  It truly is a lifestyle change, but I'm trying to be disciplined.  Sounds like your KOPS group is a great motivation for you.  Stay encouraged!

My wife lost close to 20 pounds while on Weight Watchers in a short span of time. She followed the point system religiously and bought a treadmill. I lost eight pounds simply by eating what she ate the first week. (I had to sneak behind her back and eat burgers and doughnuts and such for fear of wasting away.) Alas, she stopped and the weight returned. She's vowed to resume, but that day hasn't come yet.
