These Commandments Make Sense, But Handed Down By God?
In looking at the remaining commandments, they do seem to fit into the idea of God being love. Honor thy father and mother; thou shalt not kill; thou shalt not steal; thou shalt not commit adultery; thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor; thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife, etc. These are all based on acts of love.
