Love is Light is Love
The Oxford Dictionary lists one definition of light as "spiritual illumination". It also lists a definition of love as "rapture". Rapture, again according to Oxford, means a "mystical experience in which the soul gains knowledge of divine things." One could then say that love and light are the same thing. And darkness, being the opposite of light would mean the same as non-love, the opposite of love. If that is true (and I think that it is) then some verses from the bible reinforce the idea that...
