WRITING RULE # 1 ONLY USE CLICHES ONCE IN A BLUE MOON>>>

Face fear; throw caution to the wind. Uncover any skeletons in the closet. Stay on the ball and busy as a bee. Shoot straight from the hip. Work into the wee small hours of the night burning the midnight oil. Never quit! When the going gets tough, the tough keep going. Create a method to your... Sign in to see full entry.

WHEN WERE YOU LAST PUBLISHED??? IT'S TIME TO GET OFF MY BUTT>>>

I have both loved and hated writing from the time I can or can’t remember. My first poem, something about puddles was composed in third grade under the only teacher I ever loved, Mrs. Estes, a warm, round person who hugged us at the door every day. This early support sparked my life-long love of... Sign in to see full entry.

I have Meniere's Disease (ears weird out if I eat too much salt or have too much caffeine, OR ANYTHING THAT TASTES GOOD, loud music is a... Sign in to see full entry.

Do you have a moldy lunch and a 3 holed punch on your desk right now???

A Writer's Desk A moldy lunch and a three holed punch sit atop my desk. In my bright red mug, swim a few dead bugs while a small brown tortoise hides in his shell; his breakfast of broccoli, beginning to smell, lives on my desk content to sleep, while I lie on the heaped pile and begin to weep. Bulk... Sign in to see full entry.

Moon Journals, by Joni Chancer integrates art, writing and nature>>>

Especially if you teach kids. What a book! It is filled with art and writing activities that turn out beautifully. There are color descriptions and step by step directions for both writing and art. I have taken several classes from Joni Chancer and Gina Zodrow and they are just plain nice women who... Sign in to see full entry.

Do you find it difficult to write freely, without pounding yourself???

I am not editing as I write, I am trying to let the words flow from my heart, onto the paper like water spilling from a vase lying on its side. The flowers lie lifeless, near death as the water pours around its roots, raw and ragged… I find it difficult to write freely, without pounding myself. I... Sign in to see full entry.

Do you crave personal freedom and independence??? >>>

Emerson, Paine, Jefferson, Equiano, Bryant, Irving, Wheatley Hippies of the 19th Century?-- I settled down into my comfy down comforter wondering how I would prop my eyelids open long enough to finish this boring discourse by some stuffy old poet?? Ralph Waldo Emerson. The first line didn't... Sign in to see full entry.
