George Seaton

George Seaton was Monty's director for The Big Lift. He won two Academy Awards for Best Screenplay for Miracle on 34th Street (1947) and The Country Girl (1954). He also won the Academy's Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award in 1962. Seaton died in 1979 at age 68. Sign in to see full entry.

Buzz Cut

Sam Spiegel

Sam Spiegel was the producer of Suddenly, Last Summer, starring Monty. Spiegel was a three-time Oscar winner for producing Best Picture winners: On the Waterfront (1954), The Bridge Over River Kwai (1957), and Lawrence of Arabia (1962). He died in 1985 at age 84. Sign in to see full entry.

William Wyler

William Wyler directed Monty in The Heiress. Wyler won the Oscar for Best Director for Mrs. Miniver (1942), The Best Years of Our Lives (1946), and Ben - Hur ( 1959).
