Writers, Add an About Me Page!
Many people have requested a page that showcases the writers on Blogging Network, to demonstrate the diversity and quality of the writing.
This page will be available soon, along with a sample of a revised home page that includes a Featured Writer section. If you're a writer, and would like to be featured on these pages, please add an About Me page. You can do that by going to Add/Edit My About Me Page.

Publicity for your Blog
Now, every time you add or edit a post, your blog will appear on the "Recently Changed Weblogs" list at
Weblogs.com.
Category Changes
As planned earlier, the Relationships category has replaced Personal. In addition, the Politics & Current Events category has been renamed Current Events, which saves some space.
Keeping Track of New Comments
Addicted to comments? It's now easy to keep track of new comments. The five most recent comments are summarized on the home page, and you can select "More New Comments" to go to the New Comments page, which shows the last 25 comments.

Site maintenance
The site was down for a few minutes while we made some improvements to the service.
How to add Blogging Network blogs to BlogHog
A subscriber has asked how to add Blogging Network blogs to tracking services such as BlogHog. It's easy! Here's how:
- Enter the URL of the blog you want to monitor into BlogHog's Add Blog page. (Personally, to avoid typos, I go to the blog and copy its URL from the URL bar.)
- Click the Add button. You're done!
I just added Blogging Network News to BlogHog this way. This is possible since all blogs on Blogging Network automatically include headlines in RSS format, and support a new standard called RSS autodiscovery.
We'll be updating the Help pages in the coming week to describe these features in more detail.
