The word Daddy

My 8 month old is saying 'Dadadadadada' a lot. It does sound like he is trying to say 'daddy'. I seem to remember my older son going through the same thing. I also heard somewhere that the 'd' sound is one of the first sounds a child can make. I wonder if the men who came up with the word Daddy did... Sign in to see full entry.
