The Freeloader in a Pipe
One hot summer day when my father was off for a couple of weeks on vacation at home, he decided to take some drainage pipes on the north end of the house and turn them into a French drain for one area of the garden that often flooded. He had my brothers and I as dedicated helpers in doing whatever he decided to do. The project was decided and begun that morning on the north side of our house.
