The Fqirie Girl The fairie girl lived near a pond She used a leaf for her boat She had gold laiden fingers And elves for musicians So that she might dance And play with the other fairies In the land of the very little people. They would sometimes get hot and would beat their wings Then ask the mayflies to make a screen A screen of soft cool air That they might dance to the Moonlit night until morning comes When they had to get out of sight.
